This blend of beet pulp, red bran and psyllium is a cost effective solution for sand colic prevention. Easy to measure and feed, it’s highly palatable and requires no mixing.
For horses on sandy soils, it is recommended to do a once monthly psyllium treatment. 0.5 lb per day for 7 days based on a 1000lb horse.
