T&S Steer is a highly palatable textured feed formulated to fed with hay. Formulated with multiple protein and carbohydrate sources that act in a ‘time released’ fashion for a more efficient rate of digestibility and maximum muscle expression. The use of stream rolled grains, corn and a flavored vegetable oil optimize weight gain. Multiple fiber sources add bloom and fill. Prebiotics promote stable rumen fermentation for increased weight gain and feed efficiency. Fortified with vitamins, minerals and essential amino acids, T&S Steer optimizes feed utilization with increased metabolism, bioavailability and absorption of nutrition.
To adapt calves to grain, feed at a rate of 1% of bodyweight split in 2 equal feedings per day. Increase feed intake at a rate of 1 lb. per day up to 2% of bodyweight. Slowly increase grain intake at a rate of 1/2 lb. day as appetite increases. Maximum grain intake should not exceed 29# per day. Feed at least 5# of hay daily in addition to the grain.
